Queens Regatta 2015

Good days racing at Queens regatta in Castlewellan. No wins this time out for the green an black but some good performances all round. Top ranking was 2nd place for the men's inter pair in what is a very competitive grade. Finishing behind only the Portora pair, but finishing ahead of pairs from Carlow, commercial, and Athlunkard. Good effort lads.
See the album for pics from the event.

Big weekend for rowing, and the Irish weather having its influence on events around the country. High winds cancelled the Skibbereen regatta unfortunately……again. And while the weather wasn't ideal , Neptune athletes took on all comers, and did themselves and the club proud. In victory and defeat Neptune athletes races hard and gave there all. Well done the Green and Black attack.
Neptune athletes were in first place in the following events: Mens Masters 8, Womens J18A 4X-, Womens J18A 1X, Womens J18A 2X, Mens J15 4X+, Womens Club 4X+.
Keep an eye out for photos from the day

Busy weekend of racing on the irish rowing calender coming up. And Neptune Rowing Club aiming to be in the thick of it. A large club contingent heading up north for the portadown regatta on Saturday. And a small neptune contingent racing in the rescheduled Skibereen regatta on Sunday. Best of Luck to all the athletes in action. Row hard and row well.
