Nóra Ní Fhlannagáin, Performance Nutritionist with the IRFU will run a Nutritional Workshop for Neptune Rowers on Tuesday 23rd February 2016 at 7.30pm in the Clubhouse.
All Neptune Rowing Members, Coaches and Parents of Junior Rowers are welcome.
Nóra Ní Fhlannagáin BSc (Hons) RD MSc holds an honours degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Master of Science in Applied Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Oxford Brookes University in England.
Nóra has gained experience working with a wide array of sports teams including Oxford University Rowing Clubs, Modern Pentathlon Ireland and Paralympics Ireland. Nora currently holds a position as Performance Nutritionist for Age-Grade Rugby with the IRFU, with a focus on developing nutrition education tools for young rugby players. Additionally, she is currently providing nutrition support to the Galway Senior Hurling Team, Irish Women’s XV Rugby Squad and athletes from the Irish Track Cycling team.
Having a background and experience in clinical dietetics, Nóra understands that a healthy body underpins all great sporting performances. Passionate about promoting nutrition and exercise in a fun and engaging way, Nóra is well-equipped to provide dietary advice for both health and performance.
